Week 43

Hello Family!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!!! :) 

This morning we had to go to McDonalds for breakfast, Sister Chipman's family has a 40 year old tradition of going to McDonalds for breakfast every Christmas eve eve so as part of sister Chipman's advent calendar we got gift cards to go and get breakfast there! It was disgusting, but so fun!!! :) I'm seriously surprised at people who don't come back obese from their missions. :) haha we have been getting a lot of sweets and food and such. Its fun :) haha but it's making us fat :D So I just have to rant again about how flippin grateful I am for you guys! My neck is warm, and my arms, and my head, and my feet, I feel like I’m walking on clouds! :) these really are the softest socks in the world! :) Man, you guys are the greatest family in the whole world! :) I cannot WAIT til Wednesday!!!! 2 MORE DAYS!!!! :D I kind of keep getting these random spurts of excitement :) I am really excited to see y'all and talk to you! :) sfjdaklfhastdjkrhvjwenywruiehlrsjagfyedafuihejfbyewuarywvealgybfucwerewnafruwyeugrhsdagfhsbajhg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my feelings right now! :) Yup... :) haha you'll have to tell me if you think I’m different from when i left :) I think other people notice it more :) But I’m just excited! Come up with your questions and write them down! haha :) But I will talk to you all about that on Christmas! :) So i will just tell you about the week :) haha It wasn't too exciting I’m not sure how long I can make this one :) Cuz I get to talk to you soon!!! :) YAY!!!! :) Alright so on Monday I got a cute package from Grandma! Please thank her for me! I thought it was so sweet of her! :) We got to go to a zone lunch and it was way fun we went to this place called all-star burger it is the tiniest little crappy, greasy place, but it's good! :) haha then we spent most of the day getting Christmas cards ready :) YAY!!! :) And that night we got to go caroling as a zone! It was way fun! And we get to go again tonight! :) YAY! :) haha I love it :) Christmas time is awesome :) Tuesday was a great day! It was transfer meeting! I always love transfer meetings! You get to see all your friends and hear the missionaries going home bear their testimonies :) It's such a good meeting and a great pump up for the start of a transfer! :) So as far as all my peeps I can tell you where they are, just in case you are wondering. Sister Hall is staying in Belfair which is the middle of nowhere and way far away from me! I miss her tons! But Sister Thompson is in her zone and in key center which is also in the middle of nowhere. :) Both are in the Gig harbor zone. :) Sister Packard is still in Mountain View with sister Cassell and they are training Sister Wilkinson! bahahaha! I thought it was funny... :) Sister Baird is in my district! She's in the sound view ward, so I see her all the time :) It's fun! :) Wednesday was a good day! First of all we have this investigator named Pauline and she's from Uganda! You know how I’ve always wanted to go to Africa?! it's because I love African people! they are amazing! And Pauline is awesome! She's married and has 3 little girls and they're so cute! :) adhjkghak I just love them so much! But we taught Pauline about forever families and she got SO excited! She says she's always been taught that it's til death do us part and then when we told her that wasn't the case she was like ya that totally makes sense! It was awesome! :) Then that night we went to dinner at this lady's house for dinner and she has a daughter and they don't speak much English at all, they're from Brazil and speak Portuguese! and they are just visiting her boyfriend. So we had to use google translate...haha it was fun :) they are way sweet people :) But her boyfriend who is a member of our ward came home in the middle and so it wasn't as awkward as it could have been :) Then we had a meet n greet which is like a pot luck dinner and we invite investigators and we just hang out and members of the ward come and it's fun :) Juan Kyle and Anthony were all there Jon is visiting his family in north Carolina and I miss him! :) And then our investigators Luis and Timothy were there! :) YAY!!! :) They're awesome! :) Sister Packard and I met Luis the first day of our transfer together. :) and he was agnostic, but he's come to church 2 times and now we're teaching his roommate Timothy as well, timothy is a Chaplin’s assistant in the army so that's cool! :) After the meet n greet we got to give them a church tour and it was way spiritual! I made Juan come with us and Juan is such a tender man! :) he's like Lehi :) haha but not a prophet...anyways I love him! So we went and Juan kept baring his testimony and it was so sweet! :) Luis and Timothy felt the spirit and then they came to church on Sunday!!! success! :) haha but we'll talk about that later :) On Thursday we had a great breakfast at bishop Blackner's he's a really good bishop, we were there for 2 hours! haha but it was a really effective meeting and we had a little fun :) Friday we just did all sorts of missionary work! it was a really great day!!! :) And it was my 10 month mark!!! :) Yay! :) It was freaking me out a little bit, and so we don't talk about it....but it snowed! I hate the snow! and by the way I was assigned this week and transfer meeting to be the designated driver! Aka I'm the only one who can drive the car...not really sure how that's going to work out with our exchanges..but I guess we'll figure it out. :) Saturday was fun...haha our first lesson was with this guy named Fred and he was totally antied. it was really sad. It's kind of interesting, I can point out truths to people in their own bibles and they still don't believe it. So sad....don't harden your heart!!! :) But then we had a lesson with this girl named Lisa! (like you mom!) :) and she's awesome :) she has a little 3 year old boy who is crazy :) But she's way awesome! And we taught her about the 2nd half of the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved the 3 kingdoms of glory! and the fact that it isn't just heaven and hell, and she accepted it because it's in her own bible. Haha awh man, missionary work is SO fun! :) Then we went to dinner at the Woodhouse's and they gave us a scarf and oranges! why in the world are people so sweet?! Sunday was awesome! :) After I sang at the baptism I got dragged in to doing the ward choir haha and sister Chipman had to come along with me :) hahahaha But it was so much fun to sing! I love singing guys! :) And president and sister Weaver were there and I just couldn't stop smiling or crying because I kept looking at them and I just love them so much! :) haha :) But it was a lot of fun :) It was a great Christmas program! :) Then that night we went over to the Hartzell's. They are like my mission parents, they take way good care of us and let us bring investigators over to their house all the time. So we took Anthony over for most of his lessons and they just took him in and loved him. We're going over there on Christmas morning as well! They are so sweet. But anyways we took Anthony over last night for his new member lessons and Brother Hartzell taught him all about the priesthood, and it was way awesome! :) I love the priesthood! haha but anyways....other people are waiting to get on the computers and I will talk to you on Wednesday so I don't feel as if this has to be as long :D hahaha! But I love you SO much! :) you have no idea how excited I am to talk to you on Christmas! :) The church is so very true. I love this Christmas season, it is Christ's month and we should resolve to become more like Him. I am trying my hardest! :) I feel very very blessed to be able to be a missionary at this time, it is the greatest thing in the whole world, and I would never ask to be doing anything else. I Love it. And I am doing so good :) So no worries! :) anyways I will talk to you in 2 short days!!! :) SO I love you so much!

Last monday we got to go caroling as a zone and it was way fun! we get to do it again today! but this guy that we sang to treated us to hot chocolate! :)

This is Carolyn Hill in our ward! She is our favorite fellowship and comes with us all the time and she gave us some heat holder socks for Christmas! SO SWEET! :) and so warm! :)
